We were able to see the fetal pole and yolk sac on ultrasound at this appointment. Our beta also went up to 6353 & progesterone was awesome at 33.3.
This appointment was very important. Seeing the yolk sac is what first gave us an idea that our previous pregnancy was not going well. Last time the yolk sac was very large, a sign of major chromosomal disorders. This time it measured perfectly and all was normal.
Dr. Orris, understanding that this was an extremely important week for us, decided to have us come back after the weekend instead of waiting until later the next week. We were trying to see the heart & the sooner the better.
